About the Event
The vestibular system, located in your inner ear, is responsible for your physical sense of balance. But did you know it also plays a role in your general sense of life balance? The vestibular system first got the attention of therapists in the 1970s and has been a huge part of sensory integration treatment approaches ever since. Now, as the amazing connection of the brain and body continues to be revealed through scientific research, the link between sensory health and mental health is coming into focus.
This group will explore some of the latest thoughts on the connection of the health of the vestibular system in particular is vital for both long-term physical and mental health.
Registration is open to individuals and couples ages 18+. Online group meetings will be held via Zoom from 7-8:30 pm EST (your timezone) for five weeks.
Like all our groups, this group will run on a donation basis. Suggested donations are: $12 per week or $60 for the series for individuals, and $20 per week or $100 for the series for couples.
